Measure Goal
The goal is to standardize the calculation of electricity savings that are triggered by adjusting the operating times of refrigeration systems to avoid unnecessary running times.

Reduction of operating times of a refrigeration system with 70 kW by 500 hours per year

Requirements
Only measures that meet the requirements of the Energy Ordinance (SR 730.01; EnV) can be credited. The additional requirements for the technical characteristics and for the implementation of the measure are set out in Table 1.

Annual Electricity Savings
The annual electricity savings result from the electrical power consumption multiplied by the reduction in operating hours.
Cumulative Electricity Savings
The cumulative electricity savings result from the annual savings multiplied by the standard effective duration.
